Healthy Aging

People are living longer than ever before.

Aging does not have to be a burden, and it doesn’t need to compromise your active life. Wisdom comes with experience. Older people make valuable contributions to their communities, and live healthy and rewarding lives.

Healthy aging means developing and keeping mental, social and physical well-being. Older people’s lives really benefit from communities that support healthy lifestyles.

As we age, our bodies and minds change. Some changes are part of normal aging; others may be warning signs for health problems. It’s important to be active physically and mentally every day, to choose healthy foods, get enough sleep, and prevent accidents. It’s never too late to make healthy changes.

Age is inevitable. Aging isn’t.
