Dr. Loreena Ryder
Dr. Loreena Ryder was born in Pennsylvania and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Shippensburg University. She obtained her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona. She is a general naturopathic physician with a focus on female health and pain management. Dr. Ryder acts as a primary care provider for many patients and a specialist who complements traditional care providers for other patients.
She has treated a variety of female health issues using regimens including nutrition, exercise, herbs, natural supplements, and bio-identical hormones. Her work with women ranges from annual exams to supportive care in areas such as pregnancy, menstrual disorders, and managing menopausal symptoms. Health challenges that are either new or experienced for years are helped with treatments that maximize the body’s ability to heal itself.
During her clinical education, she developed pain management and health optimization protocols at the Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Ryder uses acupuncture, physical medicine, and injection therapies such as prolotherapy, perineural, ozone, and platelet rich plasma. She is also experienced in many different IV therapy protocols including antioxidant, weight loss, ozone, and general nutrient replenishment.
Dr. Ryder is certified in Applied Kinesiology. This manual muscle testing modality assists in finding the root of the problem within the body’s structural, chemical and mental aspects. She is also certified in Neuro Emotional Technique. The body holds emotional trauma and expresses it in many different ways such as pain, depression, or anxiety. This bio-energetic technique offers a way to release trauma.
When not practicing medicine, she enjoys the adventure of motherhood. She has three daughters who enjoy art, travel, hiking, and playing with their pets.
Dr. Ryder treats the mind and body using a whole health approach combined with the latest medical advances. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for her patients by providing support for mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
